Our four-year-old program is designed to prepare your child for Kindergarten. All concepts taught in the classroom are presented in a variety of ways to accommodate the various learning styles and promote growth through the joy of discovery. Children are both nurtured and challenged as they move toward greater independence and self-awareness.
In our classrooms we incorporate the following key instructional elements: language development, literacy, mathematics, science, technology, creative arts, and physical health and development. We focus on STEM through exploration, play and by building curiosity about the world and the way things work, and we emphasize activities that cultivate children’s social, personal, and emotional development. We provide instruction that moves children from an understanding of their personal experiences to an appreciation of the world around them to build strong links between the school, the family, and the community.
Each classroom incorporates monthly themes to allow children the opportunity to explore through science, technology, art, music, and dramatic play. Daily lessons and concepts are augmented with high quality children’s literature, non-fiction titles and online learning sites. Our centered-based approach allows each child the opportunity to grow at their own pace academically, socially and emotionally while being taught by strong Christian role models.
